Magalie Guérin

Magalie Guérin is deputy director of the villa Noailles, contemporary art center of national interest, based in Hyères (Var, France). She is involved in promoting young creatives and supporting unconventional forms of art and living. Alongside the public visible shows, she acts every day to assist workers in their professional development. With strong roots in Provence combined with Mediterranean and international connections, she aims to share this generous values legacy by building an attentive and global support to blossom talents.

Graduated from the fine-arts school of Marseille, Magalie Guérin first developed graphic design and illustrations for magazines and cultural organizations, she worked for architecture studios and music festivals production.

Magalie Guérin holds the direction of publishing activities of the villa Noailles for 15 years. She curates exhibitions in the fields of fashion, photography, design and architecture and loves to connect artists for transdisciplinary productions.

She participated to structure the art center with the general director JeanPierre Blanc: from 12 employees to 30 permanents today, from the villa Noailles house to 5 buildings in Hyères and 2 in Toulon open all year long, over than 220 000 visitors last year.
