Recipients and Entry Requirements

Yes, you can apply. This programme is made for young professionals who want to start their own brand, no matter what they studied before.However, as part of your application, you’ll need to submit a collection that shows your unique vision and perspective on fashion or fashion product which will help us evaluate your suitability for the course.

Absolutely. The programme has been created for applicants from all over the world. However, please note that you will need to attend in person in Milan.

Attendance and Course Structure

Attendance Requirements

  • In-person attendance in Milan is required.
  • First 5 months (mid-January to end of May):
    You will follow intensive modules in Milan. Some lecturers may join online, but you must be physically present for classes and activities during this period.
  • After May:
    The programme continues with dedicated mentorship (which can be online) and visits to workshops and suppliers.
  • Schedule:
    While you won’t nesesarily have classes every day from 9 to 6, you are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and activities in full.
  • Guest Lectures:
    Additional guest lectures will take place, sometimes scheduled at short notice, and attendance is expected.
  • Working alongside the programme:
    If you are already working on your brand or offering consultancy services, you may continue these commitments. However, please ensure you are present in Milan for all modules delivered from mid-January to the end of May.

Programme Content and Objectives

No, there will be no design teaching. Participants must already have a defined collection. Creativity, innovation, and sustainability are among the key selection criteria. The course focuses on essential content to support the development of your brand:

  • Marketing, branding, positioning
  • Merchandising, pricing
  • Sourcing, production (with a sustainable approach), logistics
  • Finance, distribution

The aim is to help designers launch or strengthen their brand. 

If your design process needs to be improved please consider an ACM specialist one-year Master before applying for this executive programme.

No, it is not mandatory, but the course is intended to support those who already stated one or who wish to do so. At the end of the programme, there will be a final presentation of the projects to a panel, potentially including investors. Richemont may take part in this phase, although this is not guaranteed.

Application Materials

One example is minimum; you must submit your latest collection. Present the one that best represents your style and brand values.

However, it is strongly recommended to include a full portfolio, including elements of your design process, to give the jury a comprehensive understanding of you as a candidate.

In addition, we require:

  • a short video presentation,
  • your CV,
  • and a motivational letter outlining your objectives for attending the programme.

Fees and Scholarships

The education programme is fully sponsored by the Richemont Group. The only cost for participants is a registration fee of €2,500 + VAT 22%. In addition, those not residing in Milan will need to cover their travel and living expenses.
